  • Understand how the files that make up a Web site are organized on a Web server
  • Consider the goals of different kinds of Web sites and how they influence the sites' design
  • Analyze what makes Web sites appealing
  • Evaluate Web sites in terms of how well they achieve their goals.
Lesson: on Checklist
  1. type the Home Page Evaluation Checklist
  2. Students should find a page on the Web and use the checklist to evaluate the Web page

Objectives:
  • Analyze what makes Web sites appealing
  • Evaluate Web sites in terms of how well they achieve their goals.
Lesson:
  1. Have students evaluate websites
  2. http://ld004.k12.sd.us/web-site-evaluation   Assign each group of two a set of questions.  Have them decide if the page is true or not.  They should point out their reasons to the class by showing the page to the class.
